Experience and Versatility in Design

Cory brings 14 years (and counting!) of experience to Octavo. He joined the team in 2011 after graduating from Shepherd University with a BFA in Graphic Design. As a Graphic Designer with a great eye, Cory has had his hand in design of all types: publications, packaging, branding, logos, web design and graphics, and social media presence. You name it—he can do it. He’s also skilled in today’s design tools, such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Figma, and Canva. Cory enjoys a hands-on project as much as a screen-based artistry. This is Cory’s adaptable approach in all projects, no matter how big or small, to help clients see their visions come to life.

As a native West Virginia resident who has worked in Maryland for over a decade, Cory has familiarity with the DC area that brings a unique perspective to projects.

Creativity Off Duty

Cory brings an artistic flair to his everyday life, whether it’s trying a new recipe or teaching himself how to knit. He has also been known own multiple copies of the same book because of various well-designed editions. He currently resides in West Virginia with his wife, son, and two cats, Dewey and Pearl.
